Sustainable fashion: The Mantis Project

One man's trash is another man's textile.
Native Chilean Alexandra Guerrero has managed to design the textiles pictured above using 20% recycled-cigarette filter material. Amazing. I'm rather busy at the moment so I'll let my friends at Tree Hugger break it down for you. (I just wanted to put it out there.) Follow the link.

Curve 8900 to be released on T-Mobile in February

RIM is on a roll! Following the announcement of the Niagra reports indicate that T-Mobile will be releasing the Curve 8900 February 11th. [Though I wouldn't carve that in stone.]
You're familiar with the specs-- 3.2 MP camera, EDGE, yada yada.

The fact that T-Mobile is trying to masquerade EDGE as "High-Speed Data" is both sad and misleading though.
Regardless, I'd definitely like to see this device make it's way to VZW sometime in the near future. I'm satisfied with my Storm but the transition from physical to virtual keyboard has been a rough and inconvenient experience.

Citrus Body Scrub

I try to keep distance from anything Proctor & Gamble or SC Johnson because they test on animals. Since realizing this I've been trying to use non-animal tested products like Every Man Jack ™.
EMJ offers a large variety of quality male toiletries from shaving cream to body wash.
I'm currently using the Citrus Body Scrub; smells great and exfoliates!
You can purchase EMJ directly from their website or at your local Target.

My brother introduced me to this particular wine a few weeks ago; Now I buy two bottles every time I visit the grocery store.

A brief description [from Sutter Home:]

This is an extravagantly perfumed wine, with beautiful scents of creamy white peaches, rose petals, and lichee fruit. The luscious peach and honeydew melon flavors are sweet and creamy, well balanced with good acidity and a long lingering finish. This is an extravagantly perfumed wine, with beautiful scents of creamy white peaches, rose petals, and lichee fruit.

And it's only $6.00/bottle! You can't beat it.

Get it here.
